Back at The Big Difference this month, it was great to catch up with some familiar faces I had not seen in a while.
First up were Extended Probation. This young band played a very tight, well rehearse set that includes covers as well as original material. They opened up with Iggy pop followed by The Ramones, just to make sure we all knew about the great music taste. Their originals stood up well too. The singer stage presence did echo some Freddie Mercury and he did live this out with a Freddie’s classic audience sing along routine.
Next was Rogue Notion, who’s lead singer Em_C shone onstage in her gold top – but also vocally. Their set was fun and tongue in cheek but often with a serious message in the undertones.

Headliners The Burnout made full use of The Big Difference’s projector as each song had its own animation. It set a really good vibe for their music. The Burnout pedal board so some meant we had some great guitar solos .
